THE CHALLENGE

Diageo secured an exclusive launch in Sainsbury’s for their new flavoured gin – Morello Cherry and wanted to create disruption within the stipulated Sainsbury’s guidelines for their new product launch.

 
 
 

THE RESPONSE

 

To ensure adherence to Sainsbury’s retail guidelines we explored how we could capture attention within the existing frame and footprint.

We re-designed the Quarter Pallet to allow space to be created for 3D side panels to feature the product.

Typically, the trays within the footprint of a normal Quarter Pallet have buffers on both the left and right sides of the trays.

By removing the buffers and incorporating the 3D side panels we were able to utilise space that would normally be unused. Creating this space was integral to the final design and uniqueness of the unit.
