THE CHALLENGE

F&F wanted to deliver a stand-out festive experience for shoppers, whilst ensuring sustainability considerations were at the heart of decision making.

 
 
 

THE RESPONSE

 

We hosted a Christmas workshop to provide inspiration for the Christmas season and showcase materials and print effects. One of the materials highlighted, using a variety of print effects and finishes, was Eco Mirri.

We collaborated closely with F&F to create the perfect in-store solution. We produced a number of samples which varied in opacity of our standard white, then fully trialled an opaque white with the correct percentages.

In addition, we assessed different levels of brightness and tones for the gold, sampling small incremental changes to achieve the desired effect. Finally, a special coating was developed with our ink supplier Cotech UK to maintain brightness but add durability.

In total 102,000 elements across 77 different POS types were produced and delivered.
