FOOTFALL

Footfall jumped by 7.9% across all UK retail destinations over Black Friday week, 19-25 November 2023, compared to the week before, and was 2% higher than the same week in 2022.* Footfall on Black Friday (24 November) itself increased by 11.8% but that was marginally below 2022 levels  (-1.6%).*

BLACK FRIDAY

According to Finder, it was estimated that Brits would spend circa £3 billion in the 2023 Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. This figure is down 23% from a planned spend of £3.9 billion in 2022.** The average spend per person on Black Friday 2023 is   predicted to be £113, 40% less than in 2022 and 59% less than in 2021.**
